Kane County Seeks Contractor For Interior Office Improvements
Kane County has a business opportunity for a qualified and experienced contractor that does interior building work.
The interior improvements project must be completed in accordance with the architectural outline specifications, drawings, and requirements for the Division of Transportation Open Space Office Area.
This is a prevailing wage project. The bid number is 35-017.
The contractor must supply all labor, transportation, equipment and materials necessary, including all minor items and accessories or devices necessary for completion of the project. This is an all-inclusive construction project.
The work as described in the bid specifications entails the complete interior improvements project of an open office space for the Division of Transportation located in St. Charles, Illinois. Vendors shall reference the attached Architectural Outline Specifications, Project Manual and Drawings provision for complete detailed description of project specifications, scope of service, and additional submittal requirements.
The construction must conform completely to all applicable Kane County building codes and requirements. The specifications shall be regarded as the minimum requirements and standards for design and construction. The contractor shall be responsible for the detailing, fabrication, delivery and complete construction and improvements of the open office space as specified in the bid specifications.
Kane County’s Division of Transportation (Gary Voss) shall be the project manager for the complete construction and improvement project specified.
Construction hours shall be limited to 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Contractors interested in receiving the bid specifications need to contact the Kane County Purchasing Department to register at purchasing@co.kane.il.us.
It is recommended reviewing the bid specs before attending the one-time mandatory pre-bid site meeting to be held at the Kane County Division of Transportation located at 41W011 Burlington Road, St. Charles, IL 60175 at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017. This will be only time to view the project site before submitting a bid.
Questions pertaining to the bid and/or scope of services are required to be directed to the Purchasing Office at 630-208-5107 or purchasing@co.kane.il.us no later than Thursday, May 18, 2017.
Bids are due no later than 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2017, in the Kane County Purchasing Office located in the Government Center, Building A, Room 210, 212 or 214. Bids can be received 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Bids received after the submittal time will be rejected and returned unopened to the sender.
