KEEP Offers Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors

The Kane Excellence in Education Partnership is accepting applications for two $500 scholarships.

The first scholarship is the Diverse Teacher Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior who is pursuing the field of education as a member of a diverse population or serving an area directly impacted by diversity.

The second scholarship is the Homeless/Unaccompanied Youth Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior who is a homeless or unaccompanied youth entering college.

To apply for either of the scholarships, please visit the KEEP website at kanekeeps.org/scholarships. The application consists of an online application, school report, and reference sheet. KEEP, the Kane Excellence in Education Partnership is a 501(c)3 nonprofit will support and assist the academic and social emotional needs of the children and schools in Kane County, Illinois.

Through relationship building with local educators, KEEP will also support professional development opportunities in order to continue to improve the education of the children in our community. By collaborating with districts, businesses, government agencies, and educationally focused community organizations, the foundation would seek to provide scholarships, educational activities, at-risk programming and necessary educational services to the schools in Kane County.
