POW! Here’s Your Chance to Adopt Zoe, the Beautiful Calico

“I love cats because I enjoy my home; and little by little, they become its visible soul.”

– Jean Cocteau

  • KCAC’s Adorable, Adoptable Pet of the Week is written by Tecla Metzel of Kane County Animal Control.

From the moment you encounter this beautiful 6-year-old calico with the name of Zoe, you realize that she is not a cat that you can ignore. Her name actually means “life” in Greek and she absolutely lives up to the full definition of the word.

If she were human, the first words out of her mouth upon introduction might be, “Can we talk?” As she begins to regale you with all the gossip regarding her day, you begin to realize that Zoe could definitely give some of those real housewives a run for their money! Too bad there isn’t a reality show called, “Real Felines of Kane County.”

As an owner surrender, Zoe knows what living in a real home is all about and is ready and eager to resume her place as co-hostess and main cat.

If you are looking to fill your home with soulful conversations and the happy talk of a fantastic feline, then Zoe will be a wonderful addition to your family.

Emmy (CREDIT: Emmy’s wonderful family)

Emmy, one of the sweetest dogs on the planet, is now living the good life in a wonderful home with the perfect family. Word has it that she is able to run around the big back yard until she tires out and then spend the rest of her day snuggling and sleeping! You deserve the best, Emmy! Congratulations!

Congratulations also to Angie, the timid 5-year-old brown and gray tiger that was owner surrendered so many months ago. Her new owner walked into the cat room at KCAC and fell in love with this cuddly little bundle of feline sweetness. Just make sure there are enough blankets on the couch so she can show you her burrito magic trick!
