Explore the fascinating world of blinking bugs during a “Firefly Fireworks” nature program at Campton Forest Preserve in Campton Hills.
This popular evening program is from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 8.
Join Forest Preserve District of Kane County naturalists as they walk and explain how and why fireflies produce their eerie light. As darkness falls, we’ll watch the woods and prairie light up with thousands of flashing fireflies.
