Surveillance Cameras Show Tuesday’s Bank Robbery in St. Charles
The St. Charles Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s help in identifying the single offender who robbed a bank Tuesday afternoon on Randall Road.
According to the police report, officers were dispatched at 12:37 p.m. Tuesday (June 6, 2017) to the Harris Bank, 300 S. Randall Road, for an armed robbery.
A single offender entered the bank, produced a black handgun and demanded cash, police said. The man fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
There were customers in the bank as well as employees, police said. No one was injured during this incident.
The offender is described as male, Hispanic, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing Navy blue clothing, a blue baseball cap and had a blue-and-white bandana covering his face.
The St. Charles Police Department is working with the FBI, who also responded to the scene. Two photographs taken from the surveillance cameras are attached to this article.
