Enjoy Family Fun Nights with the Forest Preserve District
Shake-up your nightly routine this summer with “Family Fun Nights” at LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve in St. Charles.
Forest Preserve District of Kane County naturalists will host two upcoming programs in the series. From 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 20, the Forest Preserve District will host a pollinator-themed program called “What’s the Buzz.” From 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, the Forest Preserve District’s “Rot ‘n’ Roll” program will focus on recycling.
Both programs will include sunset hikes and easy crafts followed by an outdoor movie and popcorn.
Each “Family Fun Night” is $5 per person and takes place at Creek Bend Nature Center, located within LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve, 37W700 Dean St., St. Charles.
