You can’t beat fun at the old ballpark, they say, and that is absolutely true of just about every Kane County Cougars game.

Thursday night was Kane County employee appreciation night, and as you can see by the happy faces in this photo gallery, a great time was had by all. KDOT Director Carl Schoedel was one of the celebrities chosen to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, County Board members mingled with fans and friendly co-workers, kids caught T-Shirts and souvenirs launched into the evening sky, hot dogs and brats were consumed, fireworks filled the world with color, fans young and old ran the bases.

Just another perfect night at a perfect venue, brought to you by a lot of good people.
