Are you ready for ShredFest 2017?

Elgin State Bank will be hosting its annual ShredFest event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 19, at 1001 S. Randall Road in Elgin.

The event open to all community members and provides free onsite shredding services. Community members are limited to three boxes or bags of shredding documents — about the equivalent of three office paper boxes.

Vehicles will be directed into the Shredfest line, and the bank will have individuals unload their vehicles for them, and documents will be shredded onsite.

“The event helps us spread the message of keeping all private information secure, which is an important initiative to the bank,” organizers said.
