How to Develop Your Own Childcare Business

How to Develop Your Own Childcare Business

You can create a future for yourself and the next generation by developing your own childcare business.

And there’s an easy way to get the help you need to do exactly that, starting Aug. 16.

The Women’s Business Development Center can guide you through the steps necessary to create a strategic child care business plan. Program entrants will learn about resources and information necessary to manage and operate your business efficiently.

The Developing Your Child Care Business workshop series is INCCRRA certified and child care providers can earn up to eight hours of professional development credits.

The WBDC’s Fall 2017 Aurora Program costs $100, but scholarships are available. The first session of the four-week series is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at WBDC Aurora office, 43 W. Galena Boulevard.

“Our early childhood education entrepreneurship services are designed to provide business insight to prospective and existing child care entrepreneurs for home and center-based businesses,” organizers said. “We provide business development counseling, workshops and classes, and access to capital through loan packaging and microloans to new and established providers.”

The WBDC Aurora workshop series includes sessions on the following topics:

  • Financials

Who should attend?
