IDOT Starts Resurfacing IL Route 25 in St. Charles
This just in.
The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that a resurfacing project on IL Route 25 in St. Charles will begin this week.
The project consists of resurfacing Illinois 25 from Johnor Avenue to just south of the Brewster Creek bridge, as well as drainage improvements and curb and gutter repairs. In order to complete the work, lane closures will be necessary.
The estimated completion date is late November.
Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
