North Aurora Days is here with a lot of exciting events happening throughout the community this weekend from Aug. 4 through Aug. 6, overlapping with the village’s Aurora Community-wide Garage Sales happening today (Thursday, Aug. 3) through Saturday, Aug. 5.

The village continues the North Aurora Days tradition of providing a fun-filled weekend of activities and entertainment for the whole family.

The Clock Tower Plaza events will include amusements for the whole family, various food vendors, a beer and wine tent, and great live music on both Friday and Saturday nights. Don’t miss the fantastic fireworks show on Saturday night!

Live Music Line-Up

Friday

• 5 p.m. — School of Rock – Local band playing all your favorites.
• 6:30 p.m. — Big Sugar – Playing favorite modern country dance tunes.
• 9 p.m. — Breakfast Club  — a high energy rock / dance ’80s tribute band.

Saturday

• 5 p.m. —  Ali Morgan — County Music singer/songwriter.
• 6:30 p.m. —  Southern Side Up — Playing the best country and southern rock.
• 9 p.m. — Friction — A cover band with a sound all their own and a crowd-friendly playlist.

In addition to the food, beer/wine and music, there will be a number of family entertainment and amusements at Clock Tower plaza on Saturday, Aug. 5. Check www.northauroradays.com for all events and schedules. Below is a sampling of the fun.

2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

• Balloon Twist Art and Face Painting for Kids
• Free Airbrush, Face Painting and Tattoos for Kids

2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• Family Fund and Entertainment – Main stage
• The Flat 43 BMX Bike Team Performance
• Lyrical Lyra — Aerial Acrobat Performance
• Disc Jockey Jaime Gutierrez with family-friendly music

Along with all the communitywide events and the Clock Tower events, the village has added the “Party in the Park”  event at North Aurora Riverfront park.  Party in the Park which will feature Chicago-area food trucks, margarita vendors and live music by Serendipity  and 7th Heaven.
