3 Kane Elementary Schools Make 2018 List of Best in Illinois

Three Kane County public elementary schools made the Niche list of top 100 in Illinois. Not bad, when you consider that there are 2,235 on the list.

The 2018 Best Public Elementary Schools ranking is based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, grade school ratings, and the overall quality of the school district.

As a side note, Fabyan Elementary School in Geneva was just out of the top 100, finishing at No. 101.

The No. 1 public elementary school in Illinois was Meadow Glen Elementary in Naperville Community Unit School District No. 203.

The No. 1 public elementary school in America was Pine View School in Sarasota, FL.
