6 Kane Middle Schools Make Niche’s 2018 List of Best in Illinois

There are thousands of public middle schools in Illinois, so making a ranking of the best 100 in the state is kind of a big deal.
Six Kane County schools have made Niche’s 2018 Best Public Middle Schools based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education.
Ranking factors include state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, middle school ratings, and the overall quality of the school district.
This year’s No. 1 ranking in Illinois went to Kennedy Junior High School in Naperville, which scored an A+ in academics and teachers and a B+ in diversity.
The No. 1 ranked middle school in the country was BASIS Scottsdale, In Scottsdale, AZ.
