Modern manufacturing practices will be in the spotlight and a variety of jobs will be available Nov. 1, when Burlington-based D&M Plastics LLC holds an open house and job fair.

D&M Plastics LLC is an industry leader in the process of injection molding. The company, located at 150 French Road in Burlington, was nominated one of the finalists in the 2016 Kane County Manufacturer of The Year Awards.

“There are opportunities at D&M Plastics that just may be right for you and your forever future,” said Mary Lake, a company materials manager. “Why not take advantage of this invitation and tour an active facility before submitting an application to be a part of our team?”

D&M is hoping to fill positions for operators, quality technicians, setup technicians, shift supervisors, manufacturing maintenance, material handling, and warehouse product packaging. The company is looking for a basic set of job skills, including an eagerness to learn and grow.

D&M is a dynamic company that serves industries including medical, electronic and automotive.

The job fair and open house will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, starting with an introduction to the company, followed by a tour of the manufacturing facility and  a question-and-answer period.

Applications will be available at the end of the presentation to be completed before leaving. Resumes will be accepted but are not required.
