What’s Closed, What’s Open For (Friday) Veterans Day Observed

Veterans Day 2017 falls on a Saturday this year, and you can click this link to find out more about the events and ceremonies taking places throughout Kane County.

Veterans Day is also a federal holiday and state of Illinois holiday, observed this year on Friday, Nov. 10, and that means several local government offices will be closed.

Cities and villages are a mixed bag, with more than half staying open on Friday, but quite a few closing, as well. Most banks are closed Friday. Post offices are open Friday but closed Saturday.

As always, if any information below needs updating, email a link to Rick Nagel at kanecountyconnects@gmail.com.
