Most Kane County communities have had their tree-lighting ceremonies and holiday extravaganzas by now, but there are still plenty of holiday happenings in Kane County.

Try visiting any of these fabulous holiday light displays, always consider options to shop local this holiday season, and there are all kinds of opportunities to visit Santa.

One of those takes place Saturday, Dec. 9, as the North Aurora Police Department hosts its free “Visit Santa” event. The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, at the department located at 200 S. Lincolnway.
