IN2’s ‘LINKubator 2.0’ Offers Work Space For Startup Teams, Non-Profits

There’s an event coming up fast that has the potential to catapult your startup business or nonprofit organization into the 21st century.

On Wednesday, Dec. 20, IN2 at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora is hosting a holiday open house to showcase its award-winning innovation center. The open house takes place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Steve and Jamie Chen Center for Innovation and Inquiry on the on the Illinois Mathematics & Science Academy campus at 1500 Sullivan Road, Aurora.

Refreshments will be served, tours will be given and staffers will help you learn more about programs, memberships and partnership opportunities at IN2’s LINKubator 2.0 facility.

About the IN2 LINKubator 2.0

IN2, a community idea incubator and shared creation space located at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora, is offering two co-working cohorts of Fox Valley area startups. Shared space is available for two different cohorts: tech-enabled and non-profit.

Startup teams of one to three people have the opportunity to LINK their startup to the IN2 network of collaborators and utilize IN2 resources including:

  • Café – complimentary coffee, tea and water
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Copier Center
  • Access to IN2 interns (IMSA students)
  • Access to mentors
  • Idea baristas
  • Shared work space
    • Mondays — 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
    • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday  — 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Free parking to grow your startup

Startups chosen may work out of IN2 (located on the IMSA campus at 1500 Sullivan Road, Aurora) starting late August 2017 through early June 2018.  IN2 observes the IMSA school calendar and state of Illinois holidays.

The fee for accepted startups is $1,000 per team member (all inclusive for the year).

IN2 LINkubator 2.0 applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. The year long co-hort begins in late August 2017 and ends in early June 2018.

Payment accommodations can be made for partial year or co-working access at a monthly rate of $100 per team member.
