‘What Are You Doing For Others?’: Jan. 15 Is MLK Day of Service
Monday (Jan. 15, 2018) is Dr. Martin Luther King Day 2018 — a time to reflect on the life and accomplishments of the great civil rights leader.
But Monday also is the MLK Day of Service — a day to give back to your community.
The city of Aurora, in celebration of the Day of Service is asking a simple question — “What are you doing for others?” — and asking residents to model Dr. King’s example of service by volunteering on that day.

After participating in the Day of Service, volunteers will be recognized at the Annual MLK Ceremony at 6 p.m. at West Aurora High School, 1201 W. New York St.
