The city of Geneva and village of North Aurora already have sent out alerts, saying vehicles parked in the streets could be towed. That’s pretty much true of every municipality in Kane County.
Help Keep Fire Hydrants Clear of Snow
Residents fortunate enough to have a hydrant in front of their house can do their local Fire Department and themselves a huge favor by clearing a 3-foot by 3-foot area all the way around the hydrant to make them visible and accessible from the street. The Geneva Fire Department is asking residents to do exactly that, and it’s pretty much true for every community in Kane.
