2018 ‘Dublindee’ St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations Galore on March 10, Fireworks March 17

From the Kilted 5K race and parade on March 10 to the fireworks on March 17, few communities will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day 2018 better than the folks in Dundee, IL.

The Thom McNamee Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade will march south from Wenholz Avenue and Water Street and then east on Barrington Avenue and then South on River Street, ending at Jackson Street.

The grandstand will be located on River Street just South of Barrington Avenue in front of the East Dundee Depot.

The community will hand out a Fan Favorite trophy based on voting via Facebook, so, don’t forget to vote for your favorite parade entry.

After the Kilted 5K, the Grandstand area will open at 10 a.m. with a lot of shenanigans, including:

With an Irish Song at 11 a.m. and as the parade approaches the Grandstand, veterans will present colors and the National Anthem.

Dublindee Fireworks March 17

With a small-town atmosphere, spread out your blanket by the Fox River and enjoy the view. The sky and river will be sparkle and twinkle for the most power packed awesomeness you have ever seen.

Fireworks kick off with the fabulous Dundee Scottish Bagpipes on either end of the bridge.
