Heads up if you’re driving on IL Route 31 in St. Charles the next couple weeks.

The city of St. Charles will be performing ditch maintenance along Geneva Road/IL Route 31 from Keller Place to Mosedale Street in St. Charles. Work is scheduled to begin the week of March 26, 2018, and be completed by mid-April.

Work includes minor storm sewer improvements, ditch re-grading and restoration. J&S Construction of Oswego is the construction contractor, and construction inspection services are provided by WBK Engineering of St. Charles.

There will be times during this work when Geneva Road/IL Route 31 in the area of construction will be reduced to one lane with flaggers directing traffic. Drivers may experience delays when traveling through this area.
