POW! My Name Is Lily, And I’m Just Looking For a Family To Love

“If a homeless cat could talk, it would probably say, ‘Give me shelter, food, companionship and love, and I will be yours for life.”

“My name is Lily and I’ve been at KCAC since September of last year.

That makes me the second-longest resident of the cat room, next to Omelette, but who’s counting? Well, actually, I am. That’s why I brought it up.

I had kind of a rough start when I came here, but I’m 100 percent now. If you can’t tell by looking at me, I’m about 1-1/2 years old, gray and white with short hair and I’m very pretty.

I think I’m keeping my youthful figure extremely well, even though I lay around most of the day and clean myself. Well, a lady has to keep her outward appearance up just in case the right family should walk in, don’t you think?

I consider myself very much a woman of the cat room, and I love getting petted and adored. I definitely like to play, too, but don’t handle me roughly. I deserve a soft touch.

If you’re willing to listen to me, I’m willing to listen to you. We can have great conversations together, while I’m sitting on your lap.

Oh, and if I could be the only feline in the house, that would be icing on the cake, too. It’s not that I don’t like other cats, but you should be able to bask in all my glory without another cat getting in our way.

Did I tell you my name? It’s Lily, in case you forgot.”
