For high school students interested in science, technology, engineering or math careers, the job market can be daunting. What type of degree is best, and in what field of study? What is the daily life of an engineer really like? What does a scientist actually do?

Each year, Fermilab offers high school students the chance to ask those questions and more to professionals in STEM fields, face to face. The annual STEM Career Expo runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, and will feature dozens of professionals from local companies and research organizations, including Fermilab.

This isn’t a job fair, it’s a chance for students to get first-hand advice from people working in their fields of interest. This event is free and open to everyone.
