Hines VA Town Hall Meeting To Be Held May 1 in Aurora
Hines VA is teaming up with Aurora AMVETS Post 103 and the Kane County Veterans Assistance Commission to hold a Town Hall meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at the AMVETS Post, 1194 Jericho Road in Aurora.
The event will cover a range of topics for local veterans about benefits and services available at the Hines main campus, as well as its clinic located at 161 South Lincolnway (IL Route 31) in North Aurora.
“We have an opportunity to serve many more Aurora-area veterans through our out-patient clinic and this meeting is a great way for veterans to learn about resources available to them, provide feedback, and ask questions of Hines’ leadership,” said Dr. Steven Braverman, director at Hines VA Hospital.
The Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital is a level 1-A facility offering primary, extended, and specialty care to veterans. Hines VA operates 483 beds and six community-based outpatient clinics in Hoffman Estates, Kankakee, Oak Lawn, Aurora, LaSalle, and Joliet.
