St. Charles Police Host Document Shredding Event May 19
Did you miss out on the document shredding at the April Kane County recycling event?
If so, you’ve got another chance come May 19, this time courtesy of the St. Charles Police Department.
The Police Department, along with ProShred Security and the Kane County Teacher’s Credit Union, will be hosting a free document shredding event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 19, at the St. Charles Police Department, 211 N. Riverside Ave.
The event is not for businesses.
“Do you have confidential paperwork at home that needs to be properly and securely destroyed?” the St. Charles Police Department said in a news release. “Just bring it in, and you can watch it get loaded into a specialized truck that shreds your documents.”
