Property Assessments Published May 22 For Hampshire, Plato Townships

Property-tax assessments are being published Tuesday (May 22, 2018) for property in Hampshire and Plato townships.
The 2018 assessment changes are being published in the Daily Herald.
Tuesday’s publication means the final filing deadline for contesting the assessed value of your property is June 21, 2018. Click here to learn how to file an assessment complaint.

After all revisions and corrections by the township assessor were applied, each non-farm property in Hampshire Township was equalized with a factor of 1.0000 and each non-farm property in Plato Township was equalized with a factor of 1.0000. Learn more about equalization factors.
- Assessment complaints for property in these townships must be filed by June 21, 2018; by state law, no assessment complaints for property in these townships can be accepted after this date. Learn more about assessment complaints.
