St. Charles Police Report Daytime Robbery in Pheasant Run Parking Lot

The St. Charles Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating two men suspected of taking a backpack and cash from a person walking in the Pheasant Run parking lot.

According to a St. Charles Police Department news release, officers responded to 4051 E. Main St., Pheasant Run, at around 2:48 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, for a report of a robbery.

The victim told police two offenders approached him while he was walking in the parking lot to Pheasant Run. Police said the offenders demanded the victim’s backpack, which contained personal items and an undetermined amount of cash.

The victim turned over the backpack and was not hurt during the robbery.

The two offenders entered a vehicle driven by a third suspect. All the suspects fled in the vehicle east on E. Main Street (IL Route64), police said. Officers checked the area for the offenders and vehicle, but neither was located.

The offenders are described as:

  • Male Hispanic, 25, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and about 160 pounds, wearing a dark shirt, blue jeans and dark hat.
  • Male Hispanic, 25, 5 feet, 6 inches, about 140 pounds, with short hair and dark complexion

No description is available of the driver, but the vehicle is described as a dark-colored, four-door passenger car.
