POW! Sweet as a Dolphin, Smart as a Whip — Sophia Is The Total Package

“If I’m going to be ‘too’ anything, ‘too cute’ is fine. I love puppies. So what? Who hates puppies?”
Zooey Deschanel

What has the sweetness of a dolphin, the running speed of a cheetah and the intelligence of a puppy?

Sophia

Could it be Sophia, KCAC’s 9-month-old Siberian husky, who is looking for just the right family to take her home? Absolutely!

Sophia is a bundle of unbridled energy that greets each day as though she never experienced the last one. Filled to the top with good intentions, she will run straight for the new potential adopter, no holds barred. After a brief tummy rub, she’s all in for a bunch of hugs and kisses, then maybe a run across the yard.

We definitely encourage anyone interested in adopting Sophia to schedule training into her daily routine. A tired Siberian husky is a happy Siberian husky and one that is more willing to listen to commands.

With some socialization and a steady stream of positive reinforcement, Sophia will make a great addition to any family!

KCAC Pupdates

Chance

It is with much fanfare, pomp and circumstance that we announce Chance has moved on to spend the rest of his days with his forever family. Congratulations, Chance, second, third and fourth chances do come along.

Piglet

We can only surmise some of the difficulties Piglet, KCAC’s pocket Pit, went through before coming to our shelter. None of that mattered, however, when her family walked in the door and fell in love with her.

Word has it that she has already had a spa day, and her new mommy has dressed her up on occasion as Wonder Woman. It’s all about the love!
