Suspects Drive Car Through Door, Ransack Versace Store in at Chicago Premium Outlet Mall

The Aurora Police Department is reporting a daring robbery this morning of a Versace store at the Chicago Premium Outlet Mall.

According to a report on the Aurora Police Department Facebook page, officers responded at approximately 3:40 this morning (Monday, June 25) to the Versace Store at the Chicago Premium Outlet Mall in the 1600 block of Premium Outlet Boulevard, for a “Smash and Grab” burglary.

The preliminary investigation indicates that two vehicles — a white, newer model sedan and a red SUV — drove through the courtyard area with the sedan proceeding to drive through the front doors of the store.

Several people then got out of both vehicles, entered the business and made off with an unknown amount of merchandise, police said. The vehicles were last seen heading toward Farnsworth Avenue.

There are no suspect descriptions nor is there further information on the vehicles at this time.
