UPDATE: Swedish Days Carnival, Central Stage Concert Canceled (June 21) Due To Weather
The Swedish Days Carnival has been cancelled all day June 21 due to the weather, according to the Geneva Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber of Commerce is assessing the weather for the remainder of the day to make a determination for tonight’s Central Stage Concert on Third Street. Stay tuned.
The Library’s Fun Under Tent has been officially moved indoors at the Library.
In addition, the Geneva Chamber of Commerce has made the following announcements regarding the weather impacting Swedish Days on June 21:
The Swedish Days Concerts on the Lawn and Face Painting booth have been cancelled this afternoon due to rain.
Looking to get out of the rain? Geneva’s downtown businesses and restaurants remain open, along with some Swedish Days food booths and vendor tent sales. Take advantage of some great shopping deals and fabulous food options.
Home Depot announced they still planned to open Creation Station on the north side of the Kane County Courthouse lawn at 10 a.m. as scheduled. The Geneva Public Library’s Fun at the Library Tent may be moved inside if the rain continues.
