POW! Haas Is Fluent in German, French, English And ‘Rabbit’
“Rabbits will always have a special place in my heart. They are often discredited as being good pets because they don’t ‘do anything’—ask any rabbit owner and watch how they laugh!”
– Shenita Etwaroo, author, animal rights activist

The German word Haas means hare, rabbit, or bunny.
And so it is that KCAC’s 8-year-old owner-surrendered bunny is named Haas, even though his breed is that of a French Lop bunny. Evidently, Haas can be considered an elder statesman, fluent in both German, French, English and “rabbit.”
Haas spent most of his life spoiled within the confines of his original human family, until they could no longer take care of him. His long hair was brushed frequently, and he was coiffed on a daily basis.
Haas dined on his favorite rabbit food and ate his favorite snack foods, basil and carrots. An elite type of hare, Haas still favors getting lots snuggles and hugs from as many people as possible. Yes, even the “little” people.
Haas also will use the litter box on occasion as he tries to learn good rabbit hygiene.
If Haas could find the perfect forever family that would give him the worldly treatment he so richly deserves, his life would finally be complete! Pinky finger up, everyone!
The adoption fee for Haas is $20!
