ECC’s Oct. 2 College Fair Will Feature 200 Colleges, Universities

Representatives from 200 in-state and out-of-state colleges and universities will be at Elgin Community College on Tuesday, Oct. 2, for one of the area’s biggest college fairs.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Building J, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.

College students, high school students and other prospective students are encouraged to attend the event to learn more about the schools they would like to attend.

This year, attendees can save time by registering for the event through www.strivefair.com where they will receive a bar code that can be shown to colleges who will then scan it to send the attendee more information about their school.

Visitors should park in the red lot marked “J” and enter the college through the lobby of Building J.

College Night is sponsored by the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling in cooperation with ECC and other area schools.
