POW! Kyle’s Big Goofy Grin Shows His Labrador Love

“When an 85-pound mammal licks your tears away, then tries to sit on your lap, it’s hard to feel sad.”
Kristen Higgins, author, In Your Dreams

Kyle isn’t a dog that can easily be ignored. He’s a Lab, after all, with the energy level of a steamroller careening down a hill.

Kyle

The minute he hits the ground in the morning, this 7-year-old yellow retriever circles every available KCAC staff member, sits down by their feet and begs for all the attention they could possibly ever give him.

While he gets his stomach rubbed and petted, hugs are never out of the question.

Some kind staff member takes him for a much needed walk as his tongue lolls outside of his mouth in anticipation. He smiles his big goofy grin to let us know he’s in seventh heaven and to please keep this up all day.

With all of his energy, Kyle’s new family will want to harness some of it to help him work off his additional un-needed weight. Keeping him on a low-calorie diet will also improve his life and make for many years of Labrador love!
