POW! Lily Is Lavender’s ‘Awww-Some’ Sister

They were brought in to Kane County Animal Control together, two little fur balls — one black and white and the other gray and white. Two females, two sisters, two stray kittens forced into survival mode before they could stand steady on four legs.
Lily
Given the petite female names of Lavender and Lily, these 3-month-old felines began their socialization to the real world, the world of the office.
Lily is the shyer of the two, still not sure whether she should hiss at what’s in front of her or run from it. Once she’s finally picked up and petted, however, she is able to give herself into the feeling until she’s released, where she then runs and hides and peeks out from under a file cabinet. Trust takes time!
Lily is learning how to adapt to the world of people, so she will need a patient owner who is willing to take the time to bring her out of her shell by playing with her with toys. Working with her will give her new forever family the chance to bond with her, to show her that she no longer needs to just survive.
She can finally enjoy just being a kitten.
How to Adopt
All Kane County Animal Control adoptable cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccines, including rabies. They are tested for feline leukemia/FIV and heartworm.
The adoption fee is $200 for dogs and $100 for cats. Adoption of two dogs is $300, and adoption of two cats is $150. The adoption fee for cockatiels is $25.

About Kane County Animal Control
It is the duty of the Animal Control Department to:
Ensure that all domesticated dogs and cats over 4 months of age are vaccinated against rabies and have a Kane County rabies tag.- Ensure that all reported animal bites are given precautionary attention in relation to the possibility rabies infection.
- Ensure that pet owners are instructed on proper procedures pertaining to animal bites and enforce adherence to these procedures.
- Contain loose\stray dogs in unincorporated Kane County and those towns and villages with whom contracted.
- Investigate nuisance dog complaints in unincorporated Kane County and those towns and villages with whom contracted.
