‘All In For Healthcare’: Tri City Health Partnership Hosts Oct. 20 Fundraiser
Blackjack, a magician, and an African Safari.
What do all of these have in common?
They’re all part of the Tri City Health Partnership 2018 All In for Healthcare Casino Fundraiser.
The evening, set for Oct. 20 at St. Charles Country Club, will be filled with casino gaming such as roulette, craps, blackjack and poker, raffles for items such as a custom Christmas decorating package, a luxury cabin in Minocqua, WI, Chicago Cubs items and more!
The live auction prizes include once-in-a-lifetime trips such as badges to the 2019 Masters Tournament, Broadway tickets, and an African Safari.
Tickets include $50 in starter betting chips, an open bar, food, entertainment, and the chance to truly have an impact on the lives of your neighbors.
As the only free clinic serving low-income, uninsured and underinsured residents of Central Kane Country, Tri City Health Partnership, a 501 (C) 3 organization, provides care to patients who have no other options for medical and dental services.
With the support of more than 120 medical and dental volunteers and the small staff provides over 1,800 visits annually. Whether chronic issues such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD or acute issues such as infection, dental problems, pain and more, TCHP treats in a mutually respectful environment.
Services range from exams, labs, radiology, medications and more.
“Since TCHP receives no federal or state funding, and never charges a fee to patients, we rely on grants, donations, sponsorships and fundraisers to provide care,” said Kim Lamansky, executive director of Tri City Health Partnership.
“This fundraiser is the largest annual event and your attendance and support will help save lives of so many residents. Our patients are ex-CEO’s, waiters, hairdressers, homeless, people between jobs or the lady in the church pew in front of you.”
The average cost per visit at the clinic is $204.
The “All In” fundraiser will provide a revenue stream to continue the mission of the clinic: to provide quality health care to those without the ability to pay.
“At TCHP, we believe that healthcare is a right not a privilege and we could not do this without the help and support of the community,” Lamansky said.
