Join the St. Charles History Museum on Oct. 6 at North Cemetery for a historic walk showcasing notable St. Charles residents that lie and wait for a visit.
You can immerse yourself in local history of St. Charles, visit grave sites of those who helped shape the unique character of the community and encounter some of those historic figures along the way, as they tell short stories about their lives.
One such resident Amelia Anderson the daughter of Swedish immigrants, Anderson traveled to America at just six years old from the small coastal farming community of Bro, setting foot in St. Charles in 1882, and eventually settling half a block from Sixth Avenue.
