KDOT Resurfacing Program Moves to Dittman Road, Starting Oct. 8
Work on the annual Kane County resurfacing program is scheduled for the week of Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, weather permitting.
Scheduled work will be the milling of rumble strips on Dittman Road at the McDonald and Dittman intersection. Construction work hours will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with temporary daily lane closures and flaggers directing traffic.
The milling process is being done to increase the safety along this road. This portion of milling is anticipated to take about two days to complete. Listed below are the portions of roads to be milled.

The above-mentioned roads will remain open during construction, but may include temporary daily lane closures and flaggers.
Motorists should expect long delays while traveling through the work areas and should add additional time to their commutes. Motorists are asked to reduce their speed, watch for construction workers and vehicles entering or leaving the site, obey flaggers and comply with traffic control devices within the work zone. Motorists may want to consider the use of alternate routes while this work is being completed
KDOT reminds drivers that it is illegal to talk on a cell phone while driving through a highway construction work zone.
