The village of Huntley Police Department is releasing weekly crime reports in conjunction with a new, interactive online map.
Here’s the most-recent news release, regarding the weeks of Oct. 10 to Oct. 16, Oct. 17-23 and Oct. 24-31, 2018.
Week of Oct. 24-31
Oct. 25, 2018 — Kyle T. Gelz, 19, of 11704 2nd St., Huntley, was arrested on an outstanding Huntley Police Department warrant for interfering with the reporting of domestic violence. The charges stem from an incident that occurred at his residence on Oct. 20, 2018. Gelz was transported to McHenry County jail to await bond.
Oct. 24, 2018 — A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 10700 block of Lone Star Way.
Oct. 25, 2018 — Seneca M. Evans, 42, of 61 N. Aldine St. #3, Elgin, was arrested for two outstanding Kane County Sheriff’s Department warrants and one Elgin Police Department warrant for traffic offenses, in the 10900 block of Janice Dr. Evans was released to the custody of the Elgin Police Department.
Oct. 27, 2018 — Katarina A. Brown, 33, of 8309 Crystal Springs Road, Woodstock, was arrested for driving while license suspended and a vehicle equipment violation, near the intersection of Route 47 and Kenneth. Brown posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of Dec. 7, 2018.
Oct. 27, 2018 — William J. Falbo, 57, of 5 LaCosta Court, Lake in the Hills, was arrested for unlawful display of a vehicle registration, disobeying a stop sign, driving with no front plate and operation of a motor vehicle without insurance, near the intersection of Ruth Road. and Algonquin Road. Falbo posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of Dec. 14, 2018.
Oct. 29, 2018 — Robert C. Lacey, 55, of 8952 Disbrow St, Huntley, was arrested on two counts of public indecency at his residence. Lacey posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of Nov. 16, 2018.
Oct. 29, 2018 — Neal A. Young, 30, of 11628 Tanglewood Lnane Huntley, was arrested for DUI, DUI BAC over .08, speeding, driving in the wrong lane and failure to signal when required, near the intersection of Haligus Road and Faiths Way. Young posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of Nov. 30, 2018.
Oct. 30, 2018 — A burglary from motor vehicle report was taken in the 11700 block of Cape Cod Lane.
Week of Oct. 17-23
Oct. 17, 2018 — Justin D. Devine, 23, of 6N550 Juniper Ct., St. Charles, was arrested on an outstanding Huntley Police Department warrant for felony non-consensual dissemination of a sexual image. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Sept. 19, 2018, at a business in the 12300 block of IL Route 47. Devine posted bond and was released with a Kane County court date of Nov. 27, 2018.
Oct. 19, 2018 — Laurence W. Rahn, 50, of 10525 N. Church St., Huntley, was arrested on rwo counts of domestic battery. The charges stem from an incident at his residence. Rahn was transported to McHenry County jail to await bond call.
Oct. 20, 2018 — Charles S. Matijevic, 60, of 10903 Pebble Dr., Huntley, was arrested for DUI, DUI BAC over .08, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane use, near the intersection of Main Street and IL Route 47. Matijevic posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of
Dec. 7, 2018.
Oct. 21, 2018 — A theft report was taken in the 9800 block of IL Route 47.
Oct. 21, 2018 — A criminal damage to vehicle report was taken. The location of the damage is undetermined.
Oct. 22, 2018 — A vehicle theft report was taken at a business in the 13200 block of IL Route 47. The unlocked vehicle was left running while the victim entered the business.
Oct. 22, 2018 — A theft report was taken at a business in the 12200 block of IL Route 47. A wallet was stolen.
Oct. 23, 2018 — Marlene D. Selep-Woehlke, 55, of 10738 Midwest Ave., Huntley, was arrested for criminal trespass to a residence and unlawful trespass to a vehicle, in the 10900 block of Myrtle Avenue. Selep-Woehlke posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of November 30, 2018.
Week of Oct. 10-16
Oct.10, 2018 — Lauren Taylor Mittelbrun, 24, of 219 Grandview Ct., Algonquin, was arrested on two outstanding Kane County warrants in the 9900 block of Thornton Way. Mittelbrun was released to the custody of Carpentersville Police Department.
Oct.11, 2018 — Scott R. Ball, 54, of 14531 Marengo Road, Union, IL was arrested for violation of bail bond, at the Huntley Police Station. Ball was transported to McHenry County jail to await bond call.
Oct. 11, 2018 — Darren P. Wyatt, 22, of 1231 N. Galena Ave. #110, Dixon, was arrested on an outstanding McHenry County warrant for failure to appear in court on a domestic battery charge, near the intersection of IL Route 47 and Kenneth Ave. Wyatt was transported to McHenry County jail to await bond.
Oct. 12, 2018 —A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 11100 block of Church St. Oct.12, 2018 A retail theft report was taken at a store in the 12300 block of IL Route 47.
Oct. 14, 2018 — Luis Escobar-Alvarado, age 25, of 103 W. Willow Ave., Woodstock, was arrested for resisting a peace officer, in the 10900 block of Myrtle St. Escobar-Alvarado was transported to McHenry County jail to await bond.
Oct. 14, 2018 — A theft report was taken in the 10500 block of Casselberry North.
Oct. 15, 2018 — Nicole M. Aikin, 20, of 8974 Disbrow St., Huntley, was arrested for driving with no valid driver’s license, near the intersection of Scott Drive and Haligus Road. Aikin posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of Nov. 9, 2018.
Oct. 16, 2018 — Sirena Kamil Arnaout, 41, of 11651 Fitzgerald Ln., Huntley, was arrested for DUI, DUI BAC over .08 and speeding, near the intersection of Kreutzer Road and Haligus Road. Arnaout posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of Nov. 2, 2018.
All individuals listed as arrested or charged with a crime in this press release are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
