A community church is presenting a big-production Christmas stage show, This Is Christmas, in four Chicago area locations this year — including two venues in Kane County.

“This Is Christmas is a fun, festive holiday show for the whole family that combines the heart of the traditional church Christmas concert with favorite Christmas songs, high-production values, and expert local musicians,” said Todd Hertz of Christ Community Church. “Over the last 10 years, this concert has become a Christmas tradition for families across the area.”

This Is Christmas will be offered in Aurora, DeKalb, St. Charles, and Streamwood — with multiple show times at each location to meet busy holiday schedules.

Tickets are $5 for all seats and are available for all locations at ccclife.org/thisischristmas. Shows will be on Dec. 7 and Dec. 8 in Aurora, Dec. 7, Dec. 8 and Dec. 9  in St. Charles, and Dec. 14 and Dec. 15 in both DeKalb and Streamwood.

Christ Community Church was founded in St. Charles at Christmastime in 1984. Since then, the church has grown to congregation of 5,000 with locations in Aurora, DeKalb, St. Charles, and Streamwood.
