Elgin Holds Dec. 5 Lottery To Determine Ballot Order For April Election
The Elgin City Clerk’s Office has scheduled the lottery to determine the order of the candidates’ names on the ballot for the April 2019 municipal election.
The drawing will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, in Elgin’s City Clerk’s Office, located at 150 Dexter Court, Room 202.
The drawing determines the order names are listed on the election ballot for the candidates running for a four-year term that filed their Petitions of Candidacy for the position of City Council member simultaneously at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2018, which include:
- Fred Moulton
- F. John Steffen
