What’s Closed, Open For Veterans Day (Observed) 2018

Veterans Day 2018 is a little different because it falls on a Sunday this year, so this edition of “open/closed” is a little different, as well.

First, many of the usual Veterans Day ceremonies and events are taking place on Sunday, Nov. 11. But some are on Saturday and some on Monday. So be sure to click this link to find out more about the events and ceremonies taking places throughout Kane County.

Veterans Day is a federal holiday and state of Illinois holiday, observed this year on Monday, Nov. 12, and that means several local government offices will be closed.

Cities and villages are a mixed bag, with more than half staying open on Monday, but quite a few closing, as well. Most banks are closed Monday. Post offices are closed, as well.

As always, if any information below needs updating, email a link to kanecountyconnects@gmail.com.
