The Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office has authorized 13 felonies against a second man in the wake of a Nov. 7 special operations sting that netted what police are calling a “major seizure of weapons, drugs, cash and jewelry.”

According to the Aurora Police Department, an investigation has led to the arrest and charges filed against Isaac Echols, 27 of the 100 block of Oaklawn in Oswego.

The initial arrest and 13 felony charges were filed against Terrell Alvarez, 23, after a parole compliance check the APD conducted with partners at the Illinois Department of Corrections in the 1300 block of Solfisburg.

A search warrant of the home yielded a jaw-dropping cache of weapons, drugs, cash and jewelry, an AR-15 and seven pistols, ammunition and magazines for each of the guns recovered, about 785 grams of cocaine, 235 grams of heroin, 339 grams of cannabis, 190 Ecstasy pills, six small boxes of THC cartridges, $6,000 cash, a bag of 36 loose diamonds, a gold necklace with diamond Jesus face, and a three-tier white gold engagement ring with multiple diamonds.

The estimated street value of the narcotics is $111,000.

“Our Special Operations investigators also were able to tie some of the stash to a second man as they continued to investigate,” said Dan Ferrelli on the APD Facebook page. “In the weeks that followed, with the help of IDOC, they solidified evidence against Echols, and on Nov. 18, 13 felony charges were authorized against him.”

They include:

• Three “Super-X” counts of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
• Seven counts of felon in possession of a firearm.
• One count of possession of a firearm with no FOID.
• One count of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance.
• One count of manufacture or delivery of cannabis.
