Friends of the Fox River Hosts ‘State of the Fox’
Start the new year out right and mark your 2019 calendar so you don’t miss the annual “State of the Fox River” narrative, presented by Gary Swick, president of the Friends of the Fox River.
On Sunday, Jan. 13, learn about new initiatives, scientific findings, and a few things to look forward to in the coming year.
The event takes place from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Schweitzer Environmental Center, located in the Schweitzer Woods Forest Preserve, 16N690 Sleepy Hollow Road in Dundee. The house is near the dog park.
“I’ll report on what’s been happening in the watershed during the past year,” Swick said. The report will include the organization’s work. Swick invites people to enjoy what the river system offers.
Attend this free presentation and find out how to “keep on fixing the Fox” in 2019.
