Batavia Hosts Friday Interfaith Remembrance of New Zealand Mosque Victims
A community remembrance in memory of Muslims killed in mass shootings at two New Zealand mosques will be held at an interfaith prayer service Friday in Batavia.
Calvary Episcopal Church and the Batavia Islamic Center are hosting the service, which will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 22, on the west lawn of Calvary Episcopal Church, 222 South Batavia Ave.
The theme is “One Community, One God, One World — In Memory of Our Fallen Victims of Hate.”
