UPDATE: League of Women Voters Hosts Series of Forums For April 2 Election
The League of Women Voters of Central Kane County and League of Women Voters Elgin Area are hosting a series of candidate forums for the April 2 consolidated election.
The LOWV is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government.
“As part of our Voter Education mission, we sponsor forums prior to every election so that candidates seeking to serve the citizens of our communities may present their views directly to voters in an open, unbiased setting,” the LOWV of Central Kane says on its website. “We will ask community access cable television to videotape the proceedings for rebroadcast before the election.”
