Tons of Seasonal Positions! City of Elgin Parks & Rec Hosts March 12 Job Fair
There are a bunch of seasonal jobs available with the city of Elgin’s Parks and Recreation Department this summer, and you’ll have a chance to apply at a seasonal job fair from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at the Edward Shock Centre of Elgin’s Heritage Ballroom, 100 Symphony Way.
The Parks and Recreation Department is looking to fill part-time positions with pay rates ranging from $8.25 to $15 per hour.
Positions include lifeguards, staff for summer camps, golf course maintenance, land management groundsworkers/laborers, program leaders, attendants, concession staff, activity supervisors and desk staff.
The job fair will provide candidates the opportunity to meet with supervisors, complete applications and in some instances, get an interview for the job of their choice.
If you cannot attend the job fair and want to apply for open positions, visit cityofelgin.org/jobs. For more information on this event, contact Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation Barb Keselica at keselica_b@cityofelgin.org.
