The Aurora Police Department will host the Celebration of Courage Recognition Ceremony to honor personnel involved in the Henry Pratt Tragedy in February.

The special ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 29 at the Paramount Theatre, 23 E. Galena Blvd.

More than 40 Aurora Police Department personnel will receive commendations, medals and special awards, including the five officers were seriously injured in the line of duty.

The ceremony is open to the public.
