There’s so much fun going on in Kane County communities this Easter season, it’s hard to keep track of it all!
That’s why we’ve put together this little guide to let you know about Easter egg hunts and Easter bunny visits at park districts and communities throughout Kane County.

Algonquin
10,000 Eggs in Algonquin’s Towne Park!
Grab your basket and meet the bunny at our new location, Towne Park, for the village of Algonquin’s annual egg hunt! The egg hunt is open to participants from 0-12 years only.
There will be 10,000 eggs for participants to pick up as quickly as possible. All participants must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event. To ensure safety, participants will be grouped by age. There will be no pre-registration for the egg hunt, which will begin promptly at 10 a.m.
Batavia Park District
Doggie Easter Egg Hunt
Let your dog hunt for Easter eggs! Join us at the Bark Park as your dog(s) hunts for Easter eggs filled with doggie treats. All dogs must be leashed during the event! Pre-registration is requested, but we will accept registration at the gate to the Bark Park starting at 11:30 a.m. Registration fee is per dog. There will be pet-friendly vendors on-site from 11 a.m. to 1 pm. Hunt will begin at noon SHARP!

- Fee: $10 per dog.
Easter Egg Hunt
All little bunnies are invited to hop on over for the annual Easter Egg Hunt! Be sure to get here early to see the Easter Bunny. Everyone should meet at the middle school by 9:45 a.m.! Group leaders will divide children into age groups and take them to their separate hunt areas.
At 10 a.m. the hunt will begin! Don’t forget a basket to hold all those goodies.

In the spirit of the event, participants are asked to please bring a non-perishable food item or paper product to be donated to the Batavia Food Pantry.

Spring Hops into Downtown Batavia with the Egg Hop
Grab your Easter Basket and hop on down for the 6th Annual Downtown Batavia Egg Hop brought to you by Batavia MainStreet and River City Church. On Saturday, April 20, starting at 10 a.m., hop around downtown businesses to find eggs filled with goodies and possibly a chance to win raffle prizes and gift certificates donated by our generous Downtown Batavia businesses.
Make sure to bring your kiddos and their eggs back to the Peg Bond Center for a chance to win raffle prizes, enjoy face painting, games, activities, and of course to visit with our roaming Easter Bunny!

Milo’s Marvelous Egg Hunt
Join Milo, our resident bunny, and hop on over for a traditional egg hunt at Blackberry Farm. Plastic eggs will be filled with candy and prizes for three different age groups (2 & under, 3-5, 6-9). The Easter Bunny will be on-hand for pictures. Adults must accompany children; only children need to be registered. Egg Hunt will start at 10:15 a.m. Don’t forget your basket and camera! This is an outdoor event, so remember to dress for the weather.

Geneva Park District
Egg-mazing Race and Night Egg Hunt at Wheeler Park!
Get your friends together and create teams of 4. Teams will complete various physical and mental challenges in order to solve clues and find the bunny hiding somewhere in the park.
Be one of the first teams to finish, and you will win fabulous prizes — including gift certificates to local businesses!
After the Egg-mazing Race, participants will go head-to-head in an exciting night-time egg hunt! Eggs filled with prizes and candy will be scattered around the park. Collect as many eggs as you can before they are all gone!

Photos with the Easter Bunny will be available for a limited time: 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 – 11:30 am. Pictures will be available during breakfast, so don’t forget to bring your camera and/or phone!
Egg Hunt
FREE EVENT! Thousands of eggs will be scattered across the soccer fields at SPRC. There will be two designated egg hunt areas: one for children ages 4 & younger, and one for ages 5 & older.
Don’t be late! The hunt begins promptly at 10 am, rain or shine.

Easter Egg Hunt April 13
Here comes Peter Cottontail!
The Village of Montgomery and Community Christian Church are teaming up to offer a free Easter Egg Hunt and related events for children from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13.
The egg hunt will take place at Montgomery Park at the corner of Mill and River Street with more fun activities nearby at the Montgomery Village Hall, 200 N. River St.
The hunt will take place in three stages, based on age groups (ages 1-3 at 1 p.m., ages 4-6 at 1:30 p.m., and ages 7-10 at 2 p.m.). All participants should be at the park at least 15 minutes before their scheduled start time and should bring a bag or basket in which to collect eggs.
Meanwhile, the Easter Bunny will preside over fun activities at the Village Hall, including cookie decorating, face painting, and more. There also will be a great opportunity to take pictures with the Easter Bunny, so be sure to bring your camera to capture these special moments.

Flashlight Egg Hunt — Bigger Bunnies And Little Hoppers
Bring your flashlight and your sense of adventure as you head into the wild to find what the Easter Bunny has left behind. This session is geared for kids who can take a small hike on uneven ground to find their treats- ages 5-8. Gather some candy and trade in your empty eggs for a roasting stick and marshmallow. Preregistration required. Child must be accompanied by a paying adult.

- Where: Hickory Knolls Discovery Center, 3795 Campton Hills Rd
- Ages: 1-5 Little Hoppers; 5-8 Bigger Bunnies

Flashlight Egg Hunt — Rock’n Rabbits
This session is geared for kids who can take a longer hike in the dark to find their treats. Gather some candy and trade in your empty eggs for a roasting stick and marshmallow. Preregistration required. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Breakfast With The Easter Bunny
Ready for a hopping-good time? Meet the Easter Bunny and get your picture taken with him. Decorate and eat your own bunny-face breakfast pancake. Dance the Bunny Hop! Ages 11 months or younger are free. Participants must be accompanied by a registered parent. One parent may accompany multiple children from the same household. Advance registration required.

Doggie Egg Hunt
NEW location! And the hunt is on for eggs filled with treats and prizes! When your dog touches one of the plastic eggs with their nose, into your basket it goes. Dogs must be leashed at all times. The hunt begins promptly at 2pm. Great opportunity for you and your pet to get a picture with the Easter Bunny! Several pet-friendly vendors will be on site. All dogs must be kept on a non-retractable leash (maximum 6ft), be current on all vaccinations and visibly wear tags.

Easter Egg Hunt
Join us for this free event! Parents and children should arrive at the park at least 15 minutes early to receive instructions and make their way to the designated egg hunt age group location. Participants are asked to bring their own baskets to collect the eggs.
