IDOT Will Resurface Route 64 in St. Charles, Campton Hills, Lily Lake — Starting Monday

The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that resurfacing of IL Route 64 between IL Route 47 and Randall Road, in Lily Lake, Campton Hills and St. Charles, will require intermittent, daytime lane closures beginning, weather permitting, May 13.

The work is expected to be complete by the end of August.

According to a city of St. Charles news release, Route 64 will remain open to traffic throughout the project

Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
