New Venue This Year For May 18 Fox Valley Garden Club Garden Sale

The Fox Valley Garden Club’s popular spring sale has a new location this year.

Due to the current construction at the Aurora train station, the sale has been relocated to the School District 129 Early Learning Center, 1870 W. Galena Blvd (formerly Dreyer Medical Clinic). You can access the parking lot from Galena Boulevard, Downer, Reimer or Edgelawn.

The annual Gardeners’ Sale is scheduled on the Saturday after Mother’s Day and has extended hours this year: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18.

This will be the 24th year for the event, which is the garden club’s primary fundraiser for the year. Proceeds are used for horticultural projects throughout Aurora.

About The Fox Valley Garden Club

The Fox Valley Garden Club was founded in 1998 when four friends got together to brainstorm ideas for a club open to anyone who wanted to share their love of gardening, enhance their own knowledge, promote gardening to the community and help beautify the Fox Valley area. We are so grateful to these four friends: Rosalie Cassiday, Mary Clark Ormand, Nancy Thompson, and Toni Vaughan.
